I have been waiting so long for this day!! New appliances! We redid our kitchen almost 5 years ago but kept the original appliances because there was no more money left in the budget. At the time I had $5,000 saved so there was no way there was money for appliances also. I had put my money toward the tile and new counters. I made the decision to live with the stainless steel appliances that were already there with the plan that one day I’d save more money and replace them.

In December our dishwasher broke and the water line to our refrigerator hasn’t worked since the day we moved in. The stove’s lock mechanism was broken so we haven’t been able to use the self clean feature in years.

So I knew now was the time to replace the appliances! The old ones had served us well and I am grateful for the ways they served us over the years but I have to admit I am glad our dishwasher finally broke so I had the perfect excuse to finally get the Café Smart Appliances I had my eye on for the past couple years. Let me tell you …. It was worth the wait!

I cannot tell you how beautiful my new kitchen additions are! I went with the fingerprint resistant matt white finish with brushed bronze handles and knobs. It feel good to have a working dishwasher and ice that I don’t have to make in trays or buy!
